We come therefore to what we would call one of the MEANS OF GRACE; baptism, which
is the Sign and Seal of the Covenant of Grace. This grace of God has established itself
in the hearts of the elect, by the Sovereign Power and Will of our Lord and Savior. And
our Lord has given to His Church, of His Sovereign Design a Symbol that requires faith
and obedience on the part of the elect, as one of the signs and the seals of the
Covenant, which God in grace has cut with His people.
