The Book of Genesis: Prologue

Without a thorough knowledge of Genesis 1, we will not comprehend Genesis 1-11. And this is seen as the first major section of Genesis, commonly known as Primeval History. And this Primeval History which is covered in the first eleven chapters, covers the creation of the world, the fall of mankind into sin, and the triumph and progress of sin through to the Flood and the Tower of Babel. This section presents us with foundational truths about mankind and the world.
