Your privacy
Privacy Policy
Glenvista Baptist Church respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address and the message you send. If you subscribe to our sermon podcast or visit the site, our analytics provider records anonymised usage data (see below). We do not ask for or store payment or financial details on this website.
How we use it
Contact-form details are used solely to read and respond to your enquiry. Your message is emailed to the church office and is not used for marketing or shared with third parties. We keep enquiries only for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it. This sets cookies and processes limited, de-identified usage data. Our contact form is protected against spam by Cloudflare Turnstile. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work normally.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request that we correct or delete it, or object to our use of it. To make a request, or if you have any privacy question, please contact the church office at admin@glenvistabaptist.co.za, who will direct it to our information officer.
We may update this notice from time to time; the current version always appears on this page.
