Let us consider The Nature of the Work of the Man set aside by God to be an Elder. The Apostle Peter under divine inspiration writes to the church scattered all over Asia Minor as a result of persecution and he instructs her to do first things first and get the essential elements necessary for the functioning of a biblical church in place. Without a proper biblically functioning eldership, a church cannot function the way God has ordained it should.
