We have seen thus far, that the Sabbath Institution or Lord’s Day is a creation ordinance and that from the very beginning, right at the outset of creation, God set aside one day in seven for worship and rest. This, God instituted, for all people everywhere and at all times to observe. And we have also learnt that the first purpose of the Sabbath is given that we may rest.
