You shall not murder (Part 2)

Bible Text: Exodus 20:13 | Preacher: Brian Watts | Series: Exodus 20 – The 10 Commandments | Our study thus far of the Sixth Commandment has comprised of the following: we have
seen clearly that life has sanctity because man was made in the image of God
(imago Dei). We have also very clearly seen that murder is wrong for numerous
reasons, but that murder goes far deeper than simply meets the eye. Jesus redefines
the commandment by pointing that hatred and envy of one’s brother is as good as
murder and is a sin that needs to be dealt with ruthlessly by eradicating it from our
lives.
