The Book of Genesis (Prologue): Day 3

We come now to day three and we will see that God continues to give form to the world by the process of differentiation whilst the emphasis begins to shift to the theme of fullness. God by His command progresses the act of creation of the second day and does further work to the waters which He separated on day 2. All this in preparation for man, who will be the crown of His creation, to work on the earth as God’s representative for the glory of God. On day 3 God performs an illustrious miracle by gathering the waters on the earth into one place and creating a dry place upon which man could habitat.
